The 5th International Pipeline Exhibition International Pipeline Cooperation and Development Forum

The 5th International Pipeline Exhibition was successfully hold at Langfang International Conference & Exhibition Center, Oct. 16-18, 2008. CNPC is the sponsor of the event, and the organizers are CPP (China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau) and IPCEC (International Pipeline Conference & Exhibition Co., Ltd.). The Interpipe was hold on Langfang for five times from 2002 to 2008. At the same time of the exhibition, a pipeline forum was hold at Langfang International Hotel. The Interpipe2008 had a ceremonious Opening Ceremony and a Welcome Banquet with grand atomersphere.
The exhibition area is about 20,000m2, and 93% of the area is indoor and the rest is outdoor area. About 240 companies that came from USA, Britain, Japan, Singapore etc. attended the exhibition, most of the companies showed the newest products and technology.
During the forum, Luc Henriod the General Secretary of IPLOCA made a speech about the pipeline construction, Mr. Su Shifeng， General Manager of CPP showed his warmly welcome to all the participants. About 300 delegates attended the forum and made talking with the experts and participants each other.
We hold a welcome banquet to welcome all the exhibitions and delegates, during the event, there is an activity of selection of excellent enterprise in pipeline industry who attended the pipeline exhibition. About 30 enterprises got the awarded.
There were 7,000 persons visited the exhibition and attended the technical seminar, so 15.1% of the exhibitors got order, the total order was about 36.8 million US dollar, the volume of agreed business was 161.8 million US dollar.
