China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (CPP) is a professional pipeline engineering and construction company under the control of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). Since its establishment in 1973, CPP has implemented over 50,000 km of large diameter oil and gas pipelines located both in China and overseas. CPP also set up various storage tanks with a total capacity of over 11 million cubic meters and accomplished numerous large crossings by means of HDD or tunneling, across waters and mountains such as the Nile, Yellow River, Yangtze River, Songhua River , Qiantang River and Renshou Mount. Since the year 2000, CPP has accomplished domestically 13 major pipeline projects, including the West to East Pipeline, Se-Ning-Lan Pipeline, Lan-Cheng-Yu Pipeline, Zhong-Wu Pipeline, Shaan-Jing Pipeline, Shaan-Jing Loop Line, Western Pipeline, Lan-Yin Pipeline, Alataw Pass to Dushanzi Pipeline, Huai-Wu Pipeline, Ji-Ning Pipeline and Jidong Export Pipeline. CPP has also undertaken two national strategic storage tank farms located in Dalian and Zhoushan respectively. Internationally, CPP has been contracted to build oil and gas pipelines and storage tanks in Sudan, Libya, Thailand, Kazakhstan, India, Russia and other countries amounting to a total of 43 projects, of which 27 are EPC projects. PetroChina Pipeline Company The Pipeline Company, acting as a regional company of PetroChina Company Limited, mainly undertakes construction, operation and management tasks of the most on-shore oil and gas fields' exporting pipelines in China .
